Life Update!

At Mercedes,  being very french and greedy- eating two pain au chocolat!

So, here is a little life update. These past weeks have been crazy for me. I’ve been running around everywhere, which is the reason why I was behind on my blog.

House, Family time and new Job?

Okay, whats new? The biggest news this year is the house! The house process has been very long and stressful, but it’s finally coming to an end. We already in the midst of moving into the house. And it’s very exciting. I can’t wait to finally get to decorate the place and really call it our home.

This month I’ll be travelling back to Canada for a couple weeks. Actually it’s less than 2 weeks that I’ll be on the other side of the world. The trip wasn’t initially planned, but needless to say I’m very happy to see everyone again. I always love and cherish the time I get to spend with my family and friends. So, it’s obviously going to be a great time. My parents are also coming for a visit to Switzerland. It’s going to be their first time visiting Switzerland. I’m thrilled to show them all the beautiful landscapes and sceneries Switzerland has to offer.

I’ll be also starting an internship at a well-known company next month, which is very exciting. Initially I had a difficult time finding something that fits me here. And the application process was definitely a lot harder than I thought. Thanks to the support of my boyfriend, I was able to conquer my fears and successfully pass my interviews. Plus it’s in German, so I’ll get to practice my German a lot more :). And to make the commute easier, I’m currently in the process of looking into getting a new car.

Diet and BBG on hold

Yes, many of you asked me about my diet and BBG workout update. To be honest, I literally gained all the weight back since coming back from Canada early this year. For many individuals and the old me- this can be seen as devastating since I put so much effort in my diet. But I don’t want to sit here and cry over this. There’s no point in regretting and putting guilt on myself as to why I let myself go and regained my weight.

As I said this many times, a healthy lifestyle should be seen as a journey and not to be put in a specific time frame with an expiration date. I know that I can get back on track and I know it takes time and a lot of will power. For now, I’m taking one step at a time.

This year is going to be a good year. Though it’s been very stressful and challenging at times, I’ll try to make the best of it.

Yours truly,
