Many have wondered whether I stopped doing the BBG series? Yes, sort of.
The last time I managed to squeeze a BBG workout into my schedule was yesterday. And I only did it for 10 minutes. I didn’t even finish all the 4 circuits within 28 minutes. I know, I should push myself more and try harder, but for some reason I was really lacking motivation to do so. And really, the lack of motivation is just another excuse not to do it.
When I first started this blog, I wanted to transform my fitness journey. Along the way I struggled with my diet, but I was still able to maintain my BBG routine. I finally gave up on Week 10. I didn’t even make it to week 12 whereby the program is based on 12 weeks. Now, I can’t even finish one full workout, without trying to pass out! Sadly!
No more BBG
The BBG workouts definitely helped me in pushing my fitness level, but it’s tricky to maintain this routine in the long-term. I find it hard to workout 5-6 days per week. Not even to mention that every 4th week, the workouts get harder and harder. There’s a ton of cardio involved, so if you want to make your BBG transformation a success- you would have to include some cardio into your routine. I do think it’s amazing how many other girls were able to complete BBG and some even repeat the whole 12 BBG-weeks again.
Taking it SLOW
I’ll still keep the workouts in mind for the future. I might attempt to do them again. At the moment, I don’t think I want to continue with BBG anymore. I rather keep it simple right now. I think the hardest thing to change yet is obviously my diet. So, I’m still figuring out what works for me.
Right now, I want to keep it slow. I learned a lot from the BBG guide, which I’m forever grateful for. And sometimes taking it slow doesn’t necessary mean something bad. It gives me some time to think what to do next. I’ll keep you updated!
Have a beautiful day!
